The original painting was commissioned by the International Boxing Hall of Fame, in Canastota, NY. It was used throughout their 2006 Induction weekend, and featured on the cover of the official program booklet. Slone was named the Official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997, and has since painted every years inductees. Pictured on the painting are Hank Kaplan (top left), Michael Carbajal (top right), Humberto Gonzalez (Bottom left) and Jarvis Astaire OBE (bottom right).
