The original painting was commissioned by the International Boxing Hall of Fame, in Canastota, NY. It was used throughout their 2005 Induction weekend, and featured on the cover of the official program booklet. Slone was named the Official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997, and has since painted every years inductees. Pictured on the painting are Bobby Chacon (top left), Barry McGuigan (top center), Duillio Loi (top right), Terry Norris (Bottom left), Bert Sugar (bottom center) and Don Fraser (bottom right).
