The original art was commissioned by the International Boxing Hall of Fame, in Canastota, NY. This painting was featured on the cover of the official program booklet. Slone was named the Official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997, and has since painted every years inductees since. Pictured on this historical cover are boxing legends (from top left) Pipino Cuevas, British commentator Reg Gutteridge and on bottom left is Ingemar Johanson and bottom right Australia's Jeff Fenech.
